Paul Chartrand

Paul graduated from Algonquin College with a building construction technician diploma in 2014 and a diploma in architectural technology in 2018. He received recognition through a number of academic awards and scholarships for his student projects.
He began his career working primarily on single family custom homes, and commercial fit-ups. He later transitioned to working on larger scale multi-unit residential and institutional projects. Paul joined Simmonds Architecture in 2021 as a senior technologist and brings experience on a broad range of building types and sizes, including projects meeting Passive House standards, and specialization in all scales of wood frame construction.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his family, their cat Rocket and dog Max. He loves to travel and seeks out new experiences. Loving to immerse himself in nature, his hobbies include hiking and gravel cycling.
