Michelle McKenna
Architect OAA, M.Arch, BEDS
Michelle is a registered architect in Ontario and a part-time professor at Algonquin College teaching Design. She holds a Master of Architecture from Carleton University and Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies from Dalhousie University. During graduate school she was a research and teaching assistant and recipient of the John E. Ruddy Architecture Scholarship. Her graduate thesis focused on novel representation techniques as a means to investigate and interpret Canada’s rich material history. Michelle has a lighthearted approach to finding unique and beautiful design solutions, and is passionate about minimal design and fine craftsmanship.
Michelle is fluently bilingual, an avid snowboarder and enjoys spending time with family, friends and dogs at the cottage.
